Nextend understands the unique logistics challenges associated with transporting assets and provides several methods for secure transport. Clients can use the online portal to schedule asset pick-ups with one of Nextend's approved carriers.
e-Cart™
To facilitate ease of transport, Nextend's e-Cart™ Program is a convenient, portable logistics solution to safely dispose of unused IT equipment. The Program is simple. An e-Cart™(s) is delivered to your office to fill as needed. Once full, a scheduled pick-up hauls your e-waste away, leaving you with a new e-Cart™ to fill. Combined with Nextend's services, the e-Cart™ Program enables businesses to easily participate in a sustainable, environmentally responsible end-of-life asset disposition solution.

Secure Facilities
Nextend has extensive facility security measures in place:
- 24-hour controlled key card access is required throughout the building
- 24-hour video surveillance
- On-site security guard mans a secure employee entrance with metal detectors and electronic wands
In addition, Nextend performs prior employment and personal reference checks, plus a criminal background check for all employees.
Secure Data
All data eradication measures performed by Nextend are compliant with U.S. Department of Defense 5220.22-M data security standards. Nextend offers a standard 3-pass overwrite and a 7-pass for extra security. For hard drives that are inoperable, the drive is removed and shredded. A Certificate of Data Destruction is issued with an itemization of each drive by serial number, designation of the method of data destruction, and the name of the Nextend technician who performed the service. No storage media leaves Nextend’s facility without undergoing some form of data security measure to render the data inaccessible (erasure or destruction).
